• This month's Ventura Region Chapter of ICC meeting will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012.   Time and Location remains unchanged with our usual meeting place of Ottavio’s, 1620 Ventura Blvd. Camarillo at 11:30am.

• Have your free ICC Mobile app?  Click here.  This app allows you to view the International Codes® and selected State Custom Codes from the eCodes Premium online subscription service. With this app, you can also view and order items from the ICC Store and directly connect to the www.iccsafe.org web site for information and member benefits. Another advantage is the ability to view ICC Evaluation Service reports on your phone.

• Per California Senate Bill 183, carbon monoxide (CO) warning devices are required in all single-family dwellings by July 1, 2011, and all other dwelling units must have carbon monoxide devices installed by January 1, 2013.  Click here to view the ICC-VRC flyer with more information about California Senate Bill 183, information for owners, acceptable CO devices, and contact information for Ventura jurisdictions.    In addition, the California Department of Housing and Community Development has provided additional material to assist with outreach information.  Click this link to the information bulletin that discusses this subject.  The Information Bulletin provides a contact number should there be more questions.
